Haliyal Deanery conducted a Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) training program for new members on 16^th February 2025. The session, held at Ambewadi Dandeli, was attended by 93 members from 10 various parishes.

Rev. Fr. Felix Lobo led the seminar, providing a detailed explanation of PPC guidelines and responsibilities and equipping members to serve effectively in their parishes. The event was well organized, with Fr. Santosh Norohna, parish priest of St. Joseph Church, Ambewadi, Dandeli, and the Laity Commission in charge of the Deanery, overseeing arrangements, including food and logistics.

The gathering was graced by the presence of Fr. Raymond, Dean of Haliyal Deanery, and Fr. Walter, who encouraged the members to actively participate in the pastoral mission of the Church.

The training proved to be an enriching experience, strengthening the leadership and commitment of the PPC members in their respective parishes.
